LATEST VOTING INTENTIONOur latest voting intention figures published in The Sun this morning are CON 34%, LAB 35%, LDEM 7%, UKIP 13%, GRN 5%.
  • There has been a tie or a Labour lead in the last eleven polls.
  • In a referendum on EU membership, 45% of people would vote to stay while 35% would vote to leave.
  • In the event that David Cameron managed to secure a renegotiation and recommended a YES vote, 57% would vote to stay and 22% would vote to leave.
LATEST RESEARCH

CURRENT ISSUES 

Fracking
  • When asked in January this year, the public opposed the extraction of shale gas in the UK by 41% to 35%.
  • When asked the same question a year earlier, the people supported fracking by 42% to 33%.
BBC Licence Fee
  • In February last year the public were split on whether the BBC licence fee was good value for money – 48% said it was, 42% said it was not.
  • Asked how the BBC should be funded, 36% said it should be through a television licence as it is at present, while 34% said it should be through advertising and commercial breaks.
